35 years of OCS – A strong team, a clear vision, reliable quality

Witten, 15 May 2025 – A special milestone: OCS Optical Control Systems GmbH is celebrating 35 years of innovation, growth and partnership. Since our foundation in 1990, we have developed continuously – from a small company to a leading global provider of high-precision measurement, testing and analysis systems for the plastics and polymer industry.

Today, our team comprises around 130 employees – and together we are shaping the future of quality control. Our focus has always been on developing technologies at the highest level, providing customers with customised support and creating sustainable solutions that set standards worldwide.

Our systems are used wherever precision and efficiency are essential – at international raw material manufacturers, plastics processors and in scientific institutes and research facilities. OCS stands for reliable quality, technical expertise and innovative spirit – and has done so for three and a half decades.

Anniversary celebration with enjoyment & community

The highlight of our anniversary: on 15 May 2025, we held an atmospheric barbecue on our company premises in Witten – a heartfelt thank you to our entire team and our longstanding companions.

With glorious spring weather, delicious food and a great atmosphere, we cooked, ate and laughed together at various barbecue stations. Whether juicy meat, fresh vegetables or flavoursome fish – there was something for every taste. Many employees were active at the barbecue themselves, slicing, seasoning and serving together – real teamwork, just as we do in everyday life.

Our picture gallery gives a vivid impression of this special day – with many encounters, conversations and moments that show our strong community. This celebration made it clear once again that our success is not just based on technology – but on people who work with passion and cohesion towards a shared vision.

Looking to the future: New company location in Bochum

Our journey continues: in order to keep pace with our steady growth and create modern working conditions for development, production and administration, we are planning a new company headquarters at the future-orientated innovation location MARK 51°7 in Bochum. The new building will not only provide space for more jobs, but also create an inspiring environment for collaboration, progress and sustainable growth.
