Film Surface Analyser FSA100

The FSA100 is a film testing system to detect impurities & contaminations in narrow films, on-line, during the production process of slender films or as sample test during the production of large quantities, as well as off-line in the laboratory work. It is composed of one camera housing and one lighting unit on the opposite side, between which the measurement point stands and is used to classify, but also to analyse, record, archive & documentation purpose.

The film is detected with a CCD line scan camera but the modular concept permits the use of different camera and illumination constellations & can therefore be optimally used to detect holes, foreign materials & defects in transparent, opaque or non-transparent films.

Performance characteristics

• Transparency measurement, for an on-line determination of the absolute and relative transparency values
• Real-time defect analysis and representation of the measurement results in various ways: table with size classes, time history, mosaic view, grades graphic
• Easy teach-in classification: defects are automatically classified by their features because of the intelligent fuzzy & neuronal network technology
